Hi,
I am using youtube to put videos of me on, singing, some covers and some my own songs. I have been using windows movie maker and me being me I am in a bit of diffuculty withit. I have read up on it and not understood how to do something.
I want to put pictures or other film clips thru the video when playing the guitar and singing. I tried dragging and dropping pics onto the play bar thingy, but it puts the pics either to the left or the right. How do you get it so it goes where you want it to without disrupting the song or sync?
I am thinking it will be very easy, maybe have to spend a bit of time at it, but I canny work it out.
has anyone got any easy idiot proof instructions to what I should do? Or is there another bit of software I could use, one that I can dowload from the net ( in hope that torrentspy has it) ;D
hanx

What you want to do isn't easy in Windows Movie Maker... At this time I don't know an easy way to do it. (Or even a hard way to do it for that matter...)

If I follow you, you want to intersperse other things into your video?
Idiot Proof Instructions: 1. In timeline view, pause the Video at the point where you want to insert
2. Making sure the video is highlighted, go up to the CLIPS menu and select SPLIT.
3. Move the blue curser to where you split.
4. Drag what you want inserted to that spot.
5. Forgive me if that's not what you were asking.

If you don't have a separate audio track it will obviously break the flow, but I'm fairly certain you can drag the video into the AUDIO/MUSIC timeline and balance the AUDIO LEVEL (in one of the pull downs) to exlusively non-video sound.
That wasn't concise, but I think it works.
