This happens to me too, but only when some one flips a switch in my apartment. The BURPS in video or sound recording are usually caused my power fluctuations. Make sure people are not turning switches on and off in your house, that your AC doesn't keep cutting on/off, that someone isn't microwaving, no one is using the dishwasher or clothes washer/dryer. If none of those things are happening then something else is causing power spikes for you (most likely.) You may want to look into getting an UPS (uninterruptible power supply).

Do you have a labtec cam? I do, and I get these burps randomly when I use the mic on it. If I disable my keyboard software from Logitech it stops though...
