If you'd like a hand, I'm an IRC nut. My services are available should you need them. :3

He/She has not logged onto mIRC. Get him/her to download mIRC from www.mIRC.com and follow the instilation process. Then when he/she runs the program, have him/her select the "Server" option and add "irc.dynastynet.net" as the server. Set "Dynastynet" as the discription. Then have him/her click "connect". He/she can set his/her nick to whatever they want. Then have him/her type "/join #tube-tubers"

The server it's self is lagging out? Odd.
None the less. Give it a moment or two to relax, then try again. If that doesn't work, I'll try and see what's slowing it down.

The issue could also be that you are running too many background programs, and that mIRC is unable to connect. Try shutting down a few things. :3

Since mIRC is being a <several strings of impolite adjectives>, try going to www.dynastynet.net and running the Java program they have there. All the mIRC commands are the same, except you need to type "/msg NickServ" instead of "/ns" to access the NickServ service bot. :3

Hmm...there must be something wrong with my connection somewhere, the Java's been stuck at [18:00] Connecting... for about ten minutes. I think I give up for now, I'll try again later. Thanks for the help though

Must have been on this side, because when I switched from mom's computer over to mine it connected immediately. Mom's computer's...weird.

you don't even need "msg" you can just go /nickserv
i thought all IRC people knew that...

I generally work with mIRC, and use just "/ns", but many Java servers will not allow the "/NickServ" or "/ns" commands.
